Asylum St - Musical Artist Press Kit Asylum St is a pop-rock band with emotionally driven and heartfelt lyrics, catchy pop melodies, and a bright personality for today's youth. They reside in Norwich, CT, and their band is named after an actual street within their town that used to hold an asylum until it burnt down in 1876. Being a fairly new band (formed July 3rd, 2022), they have many ambitions to set out to perform and help relate with a younger crowd. Their music is inspired by multiple genres such as indie, pop-rock, metal, pop-punk, alternative-rock, funk, and many other styles. They are influenced by bands such as 5 Seconds of Summer, Harry Styles, The Smiths, The Wombats, Blossoms, Billy Joel, and Dan Croll. They are currently in the process of writing their first album and have already released their first single, "YOUseless" on July 23rd. A four song EP is set to release on September 23rd, 2022. The musical topics brought up within their songs are intended to help those that are grieving from a relationship that has ended. Acerca de Calle Asilo Una banda independiente local de 3 piezas en Norwich, CT que se estableció el 3 de julio de 2022. Los miembros son Nick, Cole y Spencer. Sus proyectos comenzaron cuando Nick y Cole atravesaron problemas de relación similares en sus vidas y decidieron escribir música al respecto para ayudarse a sí mismos y quizás ayudar a otros con problemas similares. ​ Siendo todos amigos desde la escuela secundaria, su creación musical juntos surgió antes de 2022.
